I am from South Africa, applying under the MPNP Family Stream (my first cousin lives in Winnipeg). I am a sales manager in the automotive industry, scored 82 on the self assessment points.

Yes, it is possible but it is not guaranteed - as stated in their website: "Note: Neither an accepted EOI, nor an actual visit and interview, nor an invitation to apply to the MPNP suggest guarantee of approval of your eventual MPNP Online application, nor approval of a nominee’s subsequent, separate permanent resident visa application to the Government of Canada."

Exploratory visit is actually a tool that a future immigrant can use to assess and make informed decision if he/she would like to apply for a permanent residency in Manitoba. However, it appears that they favor immigrants who are planning to put up a business there.

Note that according to the info in MPNP website, "Exploratory Visit EOI closed for 2014: The MPNP’s next call for Exploratory Visit expressions of interest (EOI) won’t be until 2015. Note: Any EOI received outside a declared acceptance period will NOT be accepted nor considered nor held on file".

Hi Everyone,

I would like to ask few questions. Here's the situation...
I am planning to apply for MPNP Family Stream - First Cousin but I have an overstay record in the US. I was not deported and have no criminal record or violation. I was in transit visa before I overstayed. I was there from July 2003 to February 2006. Through the self-assessment form I can say that I am qualified and have a score of 76 pts. But I am very worried because of this situation.

1. Will this affect my application? I mean will my application be denied because of this?
2. Do I have to declare it? or just hide it?
3. If I will fill up the application soon (Form IMM 5669) Background declaration, what shall I put on the "status in country" part?

I hope someone can enlighten me.

Just a suggestion, take your chances and apply... be honest, MPNP valued honesty. You might just want to add a note in your application why you have overstayed.

I need an urgent advice/suggestions from you experienced folk. I am going to submit my PR application to CIO (MPNP nominee). Currently I am living in Beijing, China. My friend in Manitoba endorsed my application and I have got nomination on July 24, 2015. I am a Bangladesh Citizen. I was wondering how could I pay 1400 CAD from Beijing, China. So, I discussed this matter with one of my colleague in Toronto whether it is possible for him to pay by his credit card. Alternatively I was looking for Bank draft. Today I made a bank draft from Bank of China and at the same time my colleague also paid online. I have few specific questions:

1. Is there any chance CIC may ask my colleague about the relationship between he and me? Or it is not a concern for CIC who is paying in favor of me.
2. Which one should I retain, bank draft or online fee payment?
3. Is there any chance to cancel online fee payment,if there is, how my colleague can do that?
4. In the online fee payment receipt, what should be the "client date of birth" and "client ID". Who is client here,me or my friend?

Your kind advice is highly appreciated. Eagerly waiting for your responses.

I am applying for Manitoba MPNP program and filling EOI, Facing below queries,
1) My exp falls under two NOC in last 5 years(Previous: 3.5 years and Current:1.5 years), How can i apply for two NOC to get points(Points: 75) for 5 years of exp?
2) what should i answer for ''WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT OCCUPATION'', 3.5 years or 1.5 years.
3)How many full time of exp do you have in in last five years'', Is it related to occupation or total? because it is not mentioned about related to occupation? should i put 5 years?

Plz advise.

Go to member search, and search for moneywater, message him, his the 1 incharge of 2015/2016 tracker, he will register you there

You can only use 1 job while filling the EOI, pick 1 of them and put the work experience there, dont fill 2 works
