My PR application is already in process. I'm being sponsored by my husband who is in Canada.
My husband has already been approved as a sponsor. I've also already sent my passport to the Canadian embassy in Manila last August 3. Still waiting for DM and the visa.
I am growing a bit impatient and am planning to email the embassy to get my passport back and apply for visit visa so I can visit my husband in Canada this November or December. After the visit, I will return my passport to the embassy.
Has anyone done this before? Will the embassy grant me a visit visa even though my PR application is already in process? Will this delay/affect my PR application?
I know people usually apply for the visit visa before they send their passport to the embassy. So I'm guessing I'm too late to apply for the visit visa
