PR card application was in progress after one week of passing the citizenship test. I know within CIC, immigration and citizenship are total separated branches. Will the PR card team cross check citizenship application to help making decision (I know citizenship team definitely always check immigration clearance but the other way around is not normal so I'm not sure if they do)? Because I have very complex travel history, I prepared plenty of evidence for the citizenship test and didn't have issues. I don't want my PR card application being delayed. My old PR card is expiring one month after citizenship test and there is little chance the oath can happen before that but I have to travel soon. That's why I also sent PR card application hoping I can get new card before expiration.
