So sorry to hear.

Maybe you should leave her too .. there has to be a reason/s why she wants to divorce you :-\

Really, if she divorces how stupid would it look to CIC that you were married to this woman and then filing to sponsor under common law?

Well she can, but first you guys have to live together for 1 year. Then in your new application you will be requireto mention about your previous marriage. CIC will not be having hard time to figure out that you are only having relations with canadians so you can get PR

As I posted somewhere else on this forum: my situation is the same. Withdrawal of application close to the finish.

I hope you can work things out. But if not, you will have to accept it and face some difficult moments for sure.

Hang in there!

then this is a marriage of convenience and highly likely the officer would believe this. You divorce another...start livining wiht another immediately after and then that will be your second application. plus all this time you cant work.
It would sound fishy...

No option towork it out with your wife or go back home?

Oh my god! I can't believe your wife would leave you for that reason?? There must be other reasons and she is just using that as an excuse. I think you are right, she must not love you very much. You've been living with her the whole time, right?

So sorry to hear this, amine01 :(

I guess you have no choice but to go back to your home country.

Sorry to hear that, but being honest I don't think you should apply right after your wife withdraw the application because would look so suspicious to apply again being sponsor in the family class but by different woman! And also if you do it how are you going to proof the genuine of the relationship with your friend, you have to know that you need at lest 1 year of cohabitation to apply by commonlaw, maybe you should look for another category like skill worker. Good luck!

Holy cow..! I'm so sorry to hear that. Therefore; I must say that you're right. Your wife doesn't truly loved you. Based on what you stated above... well, that can't be or never be a reason to leave you alone and widraw the application/divorce you.

In my own humble opinion... it is better you will let her go and give what she asked (divorce) and move on. She isn't the right woman for you... Good luck...
