Prefer a place where you already know someone, some friend/family etc as u would need links and recommendations to get a job. And it can save some time from job hunting. Both places are saturated but jobs are still there for only those who know how to get them. your networking skills, behaviour, experience etc will count. Make sure you write a good looking resume and keep copies of it. Do an online research on job market, online job websites etc to know whats trending, which areas/sectors/stores have vacant job spots. Talk to ppl from colleges in both areas and listen carefully to their experience. Join facebook groups, almost every college has one, and contact members regarding this. Bottomline, for every vacant job expect dozens of applicants, only the skilled one will get it.
