Hello all,
I live in Victoria BC. A few weeks ago I was asked if I could take my citizenship test in Vancouver. I said I could because I want to do anything I can to shorten my processing time. I am taking my test in a few weeks.
Looking ahead, what do you think the chances of being asked to take my oath in Vancouver? Naturally, if this will get me sworn in months sooner, I would be very glad to do so, but I was hoping some of my friends and family might come to the ceremony which would be harder to make happen logistically if it is in Vancouver.
Any thoughts? Do they even offer services in Victoria? Will my ceremony definitely be in Vancouver? How do they handle cases of people who live in small-ish cities close-ish to very big cities?
