ok, Finally my father-in-law got the call to submit their passports and received the email as well. But cic account has not been updated so far. which I no longer care.

The rep said they have been trying to reach him for so long but couldn't find their number to call, and they have to do the search, funny, we provided the cell # and email on every document we attached. They are lying they could have emailed like they just did. Anyways, that's how may be they work.

The thing is I sent the first inquiry on 20th Dec, no response and then one on 20th Jan/14. And on 22nd jan they got the call.

Good luck to others who applied for Super visa.

status update online cic account medical passed on 11/30/13
no update after that, sent an inquiry on 12/20/13
no reply back
again sent an inquiry on 01/20/14
got call on 01/23/14 to submit passports
passports submitted by hand at Chandigarh embassy on morning of 24th
got sms today around 5 pm to pick up passorts from Ludhiana vfs
