I applied for pr in february and just recently got my open work permit.
I have been to a few interviews recently and I am in doubt about when/how and if I should disclose my open permit status if the employer/interviewer doesn't ask.
I just got a job offer and during the interview they asked about my status and I told then in detail about my pr and open work permit situation. However, i had a couple of other places that may also offer me a position in the next few weeks and for those places I wasn't asked during the interview. Should I disclose my permit situation upon hire? Does it really matter as it is not illegal? thanks for any insights or comments
