I am a PGWP holder, my wife just came to Canada as a visitor. I was wondering if I can apply for PR, with her as my dependant? I am already eligible for PR.
She can stay for as long as her visa is valid or if she renews it. If you have a skilled job, she is eligible for a spousal open work permit for the same duration as your work permit.

Hey,
She is already here with me, I want to apply for PR together.. Is it possible for her to stay with me, until the PR is in process?
Thanks for the response, What I was wondering is, if we apply for PR while she is on her visitor's visa, where will her application process in the home country or in Canada?

Applicants for Permanent Residence You must select the visa office that serves your country of nationality or the country where you have been legally admitted for at least one year.
If your wife has not lived in Canada for at least one year with legal status, hers will be processed by a visa office in her home country.
