Hi,

Make a temporary arrangement for your accommodation before you land...at least for 2-3 weeks or a month..

And once u are here, you can look around and can evaluate different accommodations as per your need and budget.

Come prepared...it will be very COLD that time..

Cheers and welcome to Canada,

Air :)

just type in google "homestay in (name of the city)" you will get link to lot of website. Homestay will usually cost you 250 CAD ( in Toronto) per week including meals which is bit costly therfore i would suggest you to take the home stay for around 3 week (which can be book via internet and payment on arrival) and after landing here try to find a shared accomdation from the website like"roommate finder" (usual range is 450 CAD per month excluding meals).

Go to kijiji.ca and look for apartments for rent.
