what should i do( seniors)

Hi seniors,

i send my medical and update ddocuments to CHC on 14 august . i did not send the RPRF fees as they did not ask for it. now i am going for vacation for 6 weeks to see my parents .. i am worried as i ahve not paid my RPRF fees and if the request comes for passport and RPRF fees while i am on vacation. what should i do. should send them the RPRF fees before going for long vacation.? is RPRF fees refundable? should email them about my vacation ? do they give deadline to send the passport for stamping and to send the RPRF fees like they used to have deadline for medicals and sending documents??


all the comments and guidance will be highly appreciated..

i do believe rprf is refundable. Why don't you change your address temporarily to a friend's house and s/he can phone you if you get something from CIC.

actually the mailing address is of my work...i can ask them for it but i am in jamaica and going to india for vacation and if RPRf request comes . it will be very difficult for me to send the RPRF fees for me and my wife from india..

i think its refundable but like you said, you may have to send the passport, which you cannot if you are traveling.

Send the RPRF fee Immediately, that is refundable.

Send an email asking CHC to send any PPR by post and email as well. Be prepared to cancel your holiday and return as soon as you get the PPR.


Last option is go on holiday after getting your PPR.

i know one person he was about to go for vacation and he got the ppr request . he requested them telling his suitation and they told him that he can send his passport afte rvacationand now he got his pr visa. he is in site and his id is CRIBRN
