I am writing this post in behalf of my sister .

She gives birth new baby boy last week and this is her first baby.

She is now PR and would be eligible for citizenship application end of this year ( under current rule ).

All I know She will arranged birth certificate and will apply passport for her baby.

Anything more she need to do at this point.

Thanks

The baby is born in Canada, right?

1. get the birth certificate (long form will have parents names included).
2. Fill the passport application and get it signed by a guarantor.
3. Proceed to the passport office.

When she will apply citizenship, does she require to add his name in form
Because he is citizen by born

So my sister little confused

There is a section in the citizenship application form where every child's details needs to be mentioned who are under 18.

Check the following form: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/citizen/CIT0002E-2.pdf
Read Section 6 (I)
