What is AOR from a visa office?

I want to know that what is a AOR. and how can v recieve this? this is by email or by post?

Acknowledgment of receipt. I think they are doing by email from Sydney nowadays. Thats the impression i get on this forum.

you should expect it in march 2010 or early april .... it really gets delayed ... in case you do not get it by that time send them an email and they will give you a feedback

but april means 4 months and in this forum i saw a number of people who got their medicals/AOR in 2-3 months.
but it may be now more number of applications they are procession the time frame is Exceeding day by day.

you are right ... may be less for you if you are applying through this new program introduced in 2008 which speed up the process for certain professions that are needed in the canadian market ...

i have applied in dec 07 got my AOR in May08 by email after i asked them ... but when the letter finally arrived it was dated feb 08

BABA KHAN do not worry u will get it after the new year bash ends on 4th JAN. which is ur visa office.i have send my docs on 2nd dec and till date no news. My courier tracking shows recd.
If u check this forum u will find that many people have got AOR in 12 to 14 days after submitting full application.
Anyways keep ur fingers crossed and wait till 15th jan and then send a email to them.
