What does letter of employment mean?

There is no explanation for letter of employment in the submitting documents section.
Meaning of job offer is clear, but what is the difference between letter of employment and employment records?
Job offer-future job
Letter of employment- current job
Employment records-past job?
I have a job which will start this Tuesday, LMIA based, and I have to upload job offer, letter of employment and employment records for that.
Anybody who already solved this problem, please help me.

Letter of Employment - will appear only if you say you have offer of employment from Canadian Employer.
Employment records refers to current and past employment details.documents include Offer letter,Payslips,Tax documents,Promotion letters,Salary change letters and relieving letters.

Also your LMIA is your offer of employment.So upload it in Letter of employment.

Ok, thank yo so much. Do you think it is good also if I upload a letter from my employer about my current job? Similar then employer records.

Yes. Add LMIA and Job offer in Letter of employment. Under employment records upload your current employer details.I would suggest you to add a table of contents like document as first page.So VO will feel easy in validating the documents.
