Ways of bringing my wife from india

Hi,
I am a permanent resident of canada.i am getting married next month in india.i just wanted to know about different ways of calling my wife here in india.one way is sponsoring her and applying for her p.r. From india.is there any way i can call her on visitor visa and then apply for pr from canada or applying her pr from india and then cam she stay wid me here during the processing time.my ultimate goal is to have her here as soon as possible.?

There IS a chance for a visit visa, but once you are married the chances for that are slim to none. You would have to apply right away. Use a local agency if available and reputable. We used one in the Philippines for my MIL's visit visa, it was approved in 4 days.

Slim but not impossible, from first hand experience, the most important thing is identifying red flags to the TRV and sending in lots of documents to address them, and not "topping up" your spouse's bank account to make it look like it has lots of $.

Same here. I applied for my wife before wedding. Got rejected twice. The second time, our file was huge with a lot of documentation. But unfortunately, it looked like the New Delhi office didn't even open the documentation as we got back a rejection letter within a couple of days of applying - with same reasons as the first time ("Purpose of visit"). We had a reception planned in Canada that we had to cancel as a result.

After wedding, we didn't apply - waste of money and a lot of disappointment.

EDIT: However, it was a good thing that we applied I think. We could show in PR application that we tried to be together in Canada before wedding, even if the attempt failed. This will be an answer to the question of "Did you visit your spouse? If not, explain why." in PR application.

Just what I observed.
There is more chance of TRV refusal if the person providing the invitation letter is a PR.

Many of my friends were able to bring their wives to canada when they were holding a work permit.

Which is just sad. How is it that a work permit holder can bring their spouse in, but Citizens and PRs have to wait so long for the process to complete and are refused even visitor visa in the meantime...

Because the whole process is a joke. CIC and the Canadian Government don't care about reuniting families; it's all about business.
