The medical exam is valid for one year, therefore you can expect your pr within one year if everything goes well. I've noticed a trend that most people who get a second medical request usually receive their DM within 3-5 months, but this is not always the case. Since you applied on July of 2018 I'm skeptical you'll get your DM within 3-5 months. Yet again, you never know, I hope you get it within 3-5 months but I don't want to give you false hopes. The CPC is currently processing applications submitted around May-July 2017. Good luck!!!

DM means "Decision Made." You get this message when the case processing center is done processing your application.
My friends recieved medical exam letter after 8-10 month, but I received it after 3 month. Do you know Why there's time difference?

I really don't know for sure. It could be a good thing, but also another reason could be that the officer handling your case wanted to get it out of the way now rather than later. In my opinion just put a target of one year to receive your PR, if you got it earlier then good; if not then that's what you were anticipating in the first place. Don't take yourself to this place where you check your application's status everyday, trust me it could be very stressful. Just know that when there are any updates on your application you'll receive an email or a mail (depending on the contact method you chose on your application). If you want to be more familiar with the process, I'll attach a link from IRCC's website with the whole process and its stages.

Of course Im sure. You think there is problem?
No, I don’t have a problem at all. I’m happy for you, but I find it unusual that somebody applies for PR in July 2018 and gets a medical request in October 2018.

Usually it takes about 4-5 months to get AOR ONLY. Then MAYBE after another 5 months, you might get a medical request.

I applied for PR on Feb. 2018, and all I got from them is AOR ONLY. So that’s why I’m surprised. All process takes 30 months for PR under refugee program, good luck.
