Waiting for the Visa

Hi, I’m from Sri Lanka . On 26th of November 2018 Canada embassy have been received my medical results. It’s gonna be a almost 2 months now. I wanna know how long do I need to wait for the passport request from embassy?

Can anyone let me know how many months the processing will be taken?

Based on my experience i received my passport request 9 months after they received the medical result.

Don't worry before the expiry of your medical request (i.e., after 1 year) you will receive it.

From the date you finished your medical... the receipt they give you.. its validity is 1 year only. count after 9 months. That the approximate month you will receive your passport request.

In my case i did the medical February 2018, I received passport request November 2018.

The immigrant visa they issued is to be expire on February 9,2019. From the day i did my medical.
