Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Mine was updated from DM to complete once i landed and my PR card was dispatched.

Conversely, my eCAS status is still Decision Made, even though I received my PR card a month ago.

It's like I don't exists!

Landing date: 16th May 2016
No new photo request

Landed April 24th in Calgary. I wonder are we surpose to pay fee on pr cards. The officer didn't tell us that. I tried to call cic but somehow I am not getting an as wer

No our first PR card is not chargeable no need to pay your fee

Try calling on +1 613 944 4000...I have tried calling through skype
Listen to options carefully
canadian time 8 am to 4pm they are open

Hi, I'm in a similar boat doing a short landing now and returning To India. Wanted to check a few things with you -

1) did you have any issues traveling without the PR cards? At immigration in Canada or in India?
2) how are you planning to get your PR cards shipped to you? Through courier? If so is it safe and has it been tried?
3) I've been trying to track my cards online but have had no success. I've entered the information and it says it cannot locate my application for some reason.

Would really appreciate your help and advice. Thanks!

Hi Emak. I would suggest applying for a travel document from India. Its a fairly quick process and VFS is aware of the procedures to apply for a TD. Its a lot safer than sending your PR card from overseas. The new PR card supposedly has an electronic chip with all personal information. Its not worth taking a risk and having it couriered. There is a slim chance of the card being confiscated in customs due to fraud and identity theft prevention. Hope this helps. I got my TD in one day (total 5 days from VFS). Good Luck.

my landing date is 16th may 2016...I did short landing n now m back in india
Tried to call CIC on +1 613 944 4000 (I tried calling through skype n it was successful in first attempt)

Waiting time was 10 mins....Finally I received information on my PR card....Its dispatched on 12th July 2016

It was really nice to hear from officer who was really willing to help me out with my PR card


Happy now ...now the waiting game begins for card arrival

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to share my timeline below:

Landed: April 08
Photo Request: June 09 (through email)
CIC Received Photo: June 16
PR Card dispatched: July 12

Now, I am just waiting for it to arrive on mailbox. Hoping to receive it within this week.

How did you guys re-submit your photos upon CIC second request?

Is this online? or do we need to submit online using Express entry system?

I think immigration officer ask for additional photo at the entry point. Please confirm those who have landed recently

Hi buddy ... It's not a problem if you leaving Canada without card no questions asked

My relatives are coming to India in August they will get it as m little scared using courier service

If it's more than 60 days call IRCC no mentioned in my post

Just wondering, is anyone with photo resubmission in April still waiting for their PR card? Or it is just me
