Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Not sure, I didn't call CIC during pr card processinging. But base on my card which expire on 30 June, I assume it may be produced at that day, then took 2 weeks to deliver.(Could encounter Canada post lockout during those 2 weeks)

Why didn't you call CIC during pr card processinging? You could have expediteded the processinging time! Hehe just messing around. ;D

Finally got my PR card today!

- QSW (delivered to Montreal, QC)
- Landed on 27th April
- Card was mailed out on June 24th

This is probably going to be my only post here. Like you, I have been waiting impatiently for my PR card to arrive, and it fiiiiiinally did! So, for the dates and to let people know which batches are on their way: I landed May 11, card sent on July 4, received July 14 (Montreal, QC).

I hope everyone else gets theirs quickly - especially fingers crossed for the ones that needed to send another photo and the ones that heard theirs was sent in June and haven't received it yet.

This forum has been really helpful, thank you all for sharing your stories, the misery but most importantly the happy times. Good luck to you all and take care,

I called 8am in the morning, waiting about 30 mins, and second time i called lunch time wait about 20 mins

Don't worry, I'm in the same boat, landed on May 4, PR card mailed on July 4. I live in Ontario, but Canada Post has its own mysterious ways for mail routing. I'm sure we'll get it tomorrow or at last next week, as already others start receiving the cards.

Sorry, which part of the city do you live? The areas closer to Mississauga are more likely to get it faster (I guess) since I think the main port for mail delivery in Ontario is in Mississauga [though these all are my guesses].

Congrats! Here unfortunately it's just raining I wish they'd give us the option to use a courier for this, I'd gladly have paid $20 so I can at least track it.
