Waiting for PPR from Detroit.

Notsure , detroit is very slow compare to buffalo now a days,
My fiile got transfered to detroit on 23 of jan, still no response....................................

My file got transfered to Detroit on 5th Jan 2011...............................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! still waiting

I notice that groups from your timeline already got the passport request and groups of my similar timeline already got their PPR also did you try to send specific inquiry with your case? or even caips notes?. My caips notes indicates that they will be reviewing my file june 1 2011. In that case i would be expecting my ppr june or july.

Hi.

I just want to share something new. I asked Detroit for my status and I received an e-mail back requesting origional set of finger prints for my spouse ASAP. Before my file got transferred ,last year, the Buffalo asked me to send them my Finger cased Police certificate from Canada which I did immidiately. I e-mailed them last time if they needed my spouse cerificate as well and there was no reply. My consultant told me that he had never seen any request of sending the orgional set of finger prints to Canadian Consulate.

Anyway, I sent them finger prints yesterday and also I sent them finger based Police certificate from Canada through RCMP Ottawa. Interestingly, I also received an IA letter last month that they did not need any more documents and interview but still they asked for the above.

Has anybody had any experience like this.

In my case, will have to wait maximum of 12 weeks till Ottawa updates the medical report of my spouse which they requested and sent mid May. So there is no end to this waiting.....
