Canada post said that " we can only return to sender.(CIC Ottawa)" And now I need to contact the CIC ottawa, but who?

Hello Sivagundam,

Things that can be done:
1. You could send another Xpresspost pre-addressed envelope to CIC and a letter explaining the details so when CIC again dispatches the passports back they use the new Xpresspost envelope.

2. Reach out to your local Canada post with an address proof and photo ID, to see if they would allow delivery to you at the post office as the envelope is addressed to you.

3. In the worst case CIC would dispatch the passport a second time by an ordinary Canada post.

1. You could send another Xpresspost pre-addressed envelope to CIC and a letter explaining the details so when CIC again dispatches the passports back they use the new Xpresspost envelope.

2. Reach out to your local Canada post with an address proof and photo ID, to see if they would allow delivery to you at the post office as the envelope is addressed to you.

3. In the worst case CIC would dispatch the passport a second time by an ordinary Canada post.

Another point I could think of :

Call CIC call centre and explain them the situation.
They should be atleast make VO Team aware of the situation and this might help them sending the passports back on correct address upon receiving

I am about to sent passport to CPC Otawa for visa stamp and CoRP.
In the email from LVO they say to include:

"Purchase two prepaid letter-sized (32 x 24 cm) Canada Post Xpresspost envelopes"

Does this means I need to buy 3 Xpressporst envelopes: 1 for sending the passport and 2 prepaid Xpressport envelopes inside?

Sent passports out on March 16th, reached them on March 19th.

Return tracker was activated for BOTH envelopes when i bought them.

Tracker for return envelope shows "In Transit" and that's fine, it will update once immigration dispatches my passport.

ok they say purcahase 2! So you go and buy 2 Xpressporst envelopes and put on one envelope the adress from Ottawa in the "send to" field in and in the field "From" you put your name and adress in. And on the second envelop you put your adress in the "send to" field in. take this envelope put it in the first in with all your documents and than send it to:

Name: CPC - Ottawa
AdressO Box 9780
City/Province: Ottawa ON
Postal code: K1G 4B9

I have send my passports today.
I am so worried if they will reach CPC Ottawa and that everything will be fine.
Then next two weeks will be really stressful for me :-[

I send them via Xpresspost. Bought 2 32x24, put all my documents in one of them, and fold the other a put it inside. But as I was folding it to fit it start braking on some portions so I leave it inside and bought another one, just smaller size that will be enough to fit the passport in.
I put both of them inside so they can choose which one to use.
Hope this was okay to be done from my side.

I have read so many people saying that lost their passports or sth similar so I am really stressed out.
