Waiting for Passport - Please add your case here

HI Friends,

Please help me with the following info:
1) How much time will it take to get the VISA stamped (In general / in current trend)
2) Once Visa is stamped how much time will the CIC ppl take to sent it back.
3) Where can we verify the status of these process ( stamping process or activations process ....)

As what we have experienced, it took 10 days for no. 1 and 2. We can't verify the status unless send the CIC email directly. I would not suggest you to do that unless CIC has received your passports for more than 1 month.

Congrats Samir! CPC-O got my passport the same day as yours. My tracker is not activated yet. Maybe next week.

I have sent my passport for Visa stamping to London Office since September, 9, its been over 5 weeks now and still the tracking on vfs office shows " is being processed at the Canada Visa Office in London". During that period i also recieved a CIC Email advising me to send my passport to Canada, to which i replied that i had already dispatched my passport to London as requested.

Tried to contact vfs, who in turn referred me to Canada Visa Office in London. There is no contact number, so i had to fill in the e-form, however, when i filled it a received an automatic reply that it was received that later on, a Postmaster Delivery Delayed message. Now:-

1) I am not sure if the e-form Email has gone thru.
2) It is taking an awful lot of time for the visa stamping, did anyone every take this long to stamp his/her visa (its been 37 days).

i want to follow this thread, i'm waiting for our passports's return too.

PPR was Oct09 & my visa office (Manila) received our passports on Oct15.
