Waiting for Passport - Please add your case here

I'm guessing for those whose passports were received on the 23rd will either get their tracker activated this evening or on Tuesday. Hopefully we get our passports before the end of next week!

I had been a silent member on this forum but now i can't stop myself on writing this
CIC recieved my passport on 16 sept but i m still waiting to get my tracker activated...
Should i send a mail to CIC regarding my passport
Kindly suggest

You can email them, although they seem to be very slow to respond to emails regarding passports or do not respond at all.

I sent them from inside canada. I am not sure what is going on. I had also emailed them and the VO said we will send your passports back within due time. but how much longer and why such long delay? its so frustrating

Try calling them. That's what I'd do if my passport doesn't come by end of next week.

I should have got my passport mailed to a friend in Canada at least I could have tracked it..laziness

They said printing date of my passport is nov,10,,,,, still one month more , it was recievd on sept 16.

Those who sent their passports on 16 sept, who is your VO? I was wondering if we all have same VO. Mine is EM5788.

I guess the delay is due to the fact that all the passports which were received on 16 th September were from the places outside Canada

I think it depends on when you started your application. If you submitted your passport with the guy who started his application a month before he is likely to get his passport back sooner. This is what i think i am not 100% sure if this is the process they follow.

any idea if anyone whose passports reached CIC on 23rd September got their tracker activated..please let me know coz I am in the same boat and I have booked my ticket to back home on 19th, October.. I dont know whats gonna happen???
