Hello,

1) My sister's family and parents-in-law are planning on visiting us this summer. Is it mandatory to get a ticket for the approval of the visitor's visa or an itinerary from the travel agency is sufficient for submission of the TRV application.

2) Also please advise for my parents in law - how much bank balance should be shown?
They have evaluated assets for close to 300K CAD.

Thank you for your time,
Neetha.

No they shouldn't buy tickets because many visas are refused. You can print out a potential itinerary from a site like expedia or the airline.

Your inlaws seem like they should have adequate assets. They need to show that they have access to a decent amount of liquid assets to be able to cover all their travel costs.
