Hello Forum members,

My parents got the visitor Visa and are travelling in 10 days.
Q1) I have booked the return ticket for November about 175 days ( less than 180 days) should this be ok? As while submitting for the Visa I had different dates and only three weeks stay.

Q2) Also is it mandatory to buy health insurance?

Q3) What documents should they keep with them while travelling?

Your help is highly appreciated.

Best Regards,

1)whether CBSA give them a default 6 month or weeks there is no way to predict
2)insurance unlike a super visa is not mandatory but personally think they would crazy to not have travel insurance when travelling to Canada given the costs should anything happen health wise upto you and them to weigh up the risk.
3)other than valid passports/visa , CBSA may or may not ask about their return ticket , how they will support themselves, purpose of visit and customs declaration.
