I have submitted the visitor application for both my in-laws on the CIC website.
Its currently in process.
As per their website, they tell me, they will inform me once they need Passport, fingerprint etc.
Just to get an idea, how long it takes, as the method on VFS New delhi is mainly written of paper application submission.
