Hey Folks,
My mother-in-law entered 61 days when she landed in Canada at the Kiosk. She has a regular visa and did not get any stamp as such on her passport at the port of entry.
My question is if she'd like to change her departure to a later date, can she do so without filing for extension? I know the visitor visa allows a max. of 6 month stay, but does the number of days entered at the Kiosk supersede this?
Also, the max. time allowed to stay in Canada on a visitor visa which is 6 months translate to how many days exactly? Is it 183 days like in taxes or is it calculated on a month to month basis, for example, entry is on Jan 10 so exit should be July 10 at the very latest.
