I am an International high school student in Canada, and scheduling to come back to Canada at the end of the August after my vacation. However, I forgot to renew my visa, which is supposed to be applied once I got my study permit (clearly, I forgot to do so). So currently I am applying for the renewal of my visa in China mainland. I used online application on Sept. 2nd, so far, I haven't received any message from the office yet. After checking the Immigration office's website, I found that the estimated processing time for the visa applied from the mainland China is around 62 days. However, I think that is calculated as the first time for the applicant's application, so they also need some time to go over their materials from the beginning, but for me, who only needs the renewal of the visa and has a valid study permit also a biometric record in the profile, may I estimate the processing time shorter? If so, that can be a relief.
