hello friends, i want to apply for visitor visa for my parents. i have a few questions:
1. is it mandatory to submit marriage certificate as my parents were married 50 years ago and at that time they did not issue marriage certificate. they also have some other govt documents listing spouse names, e.g. passports, will it work ?
2. Can i pay the fees with my canadian credit card ?

I call my parents last spring.
All I did :
Fill there form;
Get my invitation; PR card;Passport;Bank statement ; employer letter and ;3 month pay slip notrised from Canadian notery (cost me $100 ) and get travel insurance from Bajaj Alliance which cost me 27 and 44 k rs approx.
Visa fees paid in Cash at VFS. I think you can pay by DD - just ask your India bank to make a DD from NRE acc if u got one.
Parents will get multiple entry visa upto validity of there PP. So if there passport is about to expire soon get it renewal first so they can get 10 year visit visa.

Hi,

I would like to invite my in-laws (wife's mom and dad) to Canada for a visit for less than 6 months. Please if you can let me know how to go about it. Do I need to apply online, or they need to apply online? Also regarding the invitation letter, if any one has a sample can you please post here or email it to me at kbanatwala @ yahoo.com

Thanks for the help...
