Visitor Visa for my mother

Hi,

One of my freind's mother has got the visitor visa for less than 6 month multiple entry but her plan has changed a little bit and now she is going to Austrialia to visit her family and will be coming to canada after 1 year.

Is that an issue,because I hear that you have to report within 6 months of the Visa Grant.
Is that true for Visitor Visa as well.

There is no such rule that the holder needs to travel to Canada within 6 months of its issue.
