visitor visa for my Father .... Senior plz help

HI all

I am from New Delhi. I got my PR and will be landing in June 2011.I want my father to join me in canada.

So i am thinking of applying for visitor visa for him.

I have few queries. It would be of great help if senior people could spare some of their valuable time and clarify my doubts.

1. As i got my PR do i need to mention this in my father application?

2. I have a friend in Canada who can send invitation letter .... Will it be good to get letter from him {will it make sense that my friend is inviting my father to Canada......}

3. How much fund required to be shown in his account

4. He has property in India but its on my mother's name ......can I show that??
