hey guys, i really need your help...i will apply to extend my stay the next week and I'm confused about the reasons of extension...i came here to visit my fiancé and after i got here we got married and now we are gathering the documents we need to apply for PR...any help will be greatly appreciated

help please :'( should i ask for extension because I'm going to apply for PR ???? i just found an answer says you should, another one says if you say that you're planning o immigrate you will not be get the extension ?? please help I'm really freaking out

apply for extension of visitor visa - u might get it for 3 months or 6 months more - however u have to show confirmed ticket to ur home country and continue to prove ties that u will return

if ur status has expired then it means u have overstayed -

Just apply for extention and indicate in your reason that your getting married. You dont have to worry to much as long you are saying the truth anyway you all got the reasons to stay.

when is your visa expiring? you must apply atleast a month before it expires.

Ask the bank if they will allow you to open a joint account even if you dont have SIN yet and your not a PR

i know someone who went home after getting married, and apply the normal spouse sponsorship.
submit all the required docs, proof of relationships... and etc!

then the applicant came back after 6 months. now they live happily ever after
