What do I need to do beside fill in the application , do i need to do a letter ... my husband does not have much funds in the bank would i need to put that i am fully supporting him while he visits in canada and do i also need to write a letter on why I would like to extend his stay further in canada ?

Hi Jigzzkenion, with the application form you would need to state why you need an extension and proof of funds. If your the one supporting his stay or visa versa a letter stating your the guarantor, bank statement or your job letter/pay slip can also be submitted.

Here is the link to extend visitor stay. You can click on the "Find out if you are eligible to apply online". There will be a series of questions and in the end they will determine if you can apply online or if you need to mail in the application.
