I'm American my fiancé is Canadian. I will be visiting him for 10 days. I am wondering if I should know anything about what to say to the border security. I have a binder that has wedding plans as well as info on Canadian and USA immigration. We haven't officially decided if I will be immigrating there or him to the USA.
Thank you

As an american you will probably receive less scrutiny. Just say you're going there to visit your fiance for under 2 weeks. Demonstrate your intent to leave by proving ties back to where you live in the states and youll be fine.

only problem would be if they suspected you trying to move there permanently.

Yah I don't want them to think we are getting married in the 10 days because we aren't. I just wanted to brin g some stuff for planning purposes.
Thanks!

Just say you are visiting your fiance for 10 days, don't volunteer extra information. If they do ask specific questions, be honest and answer them. Bring proof of ties to the US (paystubs from a job, lease, etc) in case they ask and you will be fine.
