Hey guys. this is for all of you who already go their visas..i was under the impression that the visa stamp is not put on the passport and is only done on the port of entry by the immigration officer in canada. But i already got my visa stamp in my passport..so what does the immigration officer at the airport do?

They issue you "study permit" at the port of entry. Its a government paper containing your personal and study institution/course details on it. The immigration officer will fold and staple it to the page next to your student visa page.

acemsyed bro ALHUMDULILLAH i got my Visa my course will commence from 28th of Feb but for a safe side i already asked college for extension and they email me my revise LOA stating last date of joining is 18 March now my question is i planned to offer Umrah with connecting flight then depart for Toronto so if i come in March is that ok with me or Border Agency officer will deport me coz of my course date is 28 and i land CA in March plz advise?
