VISA REJECTION AFTER PASSPORT REQUEST ?

I want to know whether there is a chance of rejection after passport request?

I have never heard of it except one case here in the forum where cic after 2 hours of mail approval & pp request wrote that the mail is an error, hence refused the fellow

I received the mail on 21 st july.
No further contact. What could it be ?

Well the logic is why would the visa embassy take the trouble to ask for passport if they going to reject it. Afterall they dont stamp anything except visa on passport.you are getting your visa bruh.

Where did you filed you application, and how many days after passport request did you submitted your passport.
Got my request too on 29th.

Hi,
New Delhi. I got passport request on 21 st , submitted passport on 22 nd. I haven't received my passport yet but that's most probably because I will get medical surveillance in Canada . I expect it to be back this week.

So you applied online, right? have you checked your status in cic account. Usually it takes 5 business days for the response, so i am also hoping for a response in a day or two.

Yes. I have been checking. My dmp sent the report to the embassy on 30th july. What does your medical status show?
Vfs people said it takes a minimum of 10 working days to get passport back.

I am not trying to be a party pooper, but I had my passport requested and upon returning it to me after 1 month +, there was no visa stamped on my passport but instead a painful letter saying my visa was rejected.

Malaysia citizen, accepted into the university of Waterloo, I applied on the 17 of april... I was asked to do my medical the beginning June, passport was requested in mid june...waited for one month before receiving back my passport saying it was rejected because my VO didn't think I could pay my tuition fee + stay without working
