visa got rejected... but m not dishearted... Allah has kept something better...

2day i got my docs back... my Visa got rejected on the following grounds:
1) Visa officer was not satisfied tht i'll leave Canada after completion of my course.
a) VO ws not satisfied wid my travel history.
b) VO ws not satisfied wid my current employment.

I am not getting point a and b... don't knw y he said so...

Previosly i have been refused due to
1) Visa officer was not satisfied tht i'll leave Canada after completion of my course.

b) my current employment.
c) Purpose of Visit
d) Family ties in Canada / in residential place

2nd time i reapplied.......

I give my legal prof of b, c, d, by providing certificates and bona fide status but not have traval history in past because it is my poineer traval to Canada for my higher studies.....

What u think that the travel history is compulsory rejection reason for going to canada.......?

Not geniune reason for refusal.........

If no traval history in past can reject my case..........what people u think....?

Sorry to hear about all this. The CHC is a lot tougher nowadays than it's been in the past. A Canadian colleague of my father's says it's because a lot of Pakistanis get TRVs for Canada and then apply for asylum on one pretext or another once they're there. So the CHC is probably instructed to maintain a harsh policy.

I think the main thing you can do to convince the VO that you plan on returning is submitting a letter from a prospective employer in Pakistan, and/or showing that the program you want to be enrolled in follows logically from your previous studies and is guaranteed to enhance your employment opportunities in your home country.

If your own employment status is not strong, show your parents' employment status and employment stability together with their letter of sponsorship.

By the way, I submitted two copies of the IMM5257B_1 form (Schedule 1 - Application for a Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside of Canada). If you look at the instructions at the top of this form, this is what they say:

"Please provide details of your employment (including self-employment) for the last ten years. If you did not work or were retired, please provide the personal address for that period. If you are a dependent on someone else's income (i.e. your parents or spouse), please provide employment details of this person. Start with the most recent information."

I submitted one copy of this form showing my own employment history. But because I have been a student and have been dependent on my father in recent years, I submitted another copy of this form showing my father's employment history. This may be an important thing that one has to do to show employment stability in the family and ties to your home country or some other country of residency apart from Canada.
