Can anyone shed some light, if we let our PR cards be issued to address in the mail box and later forwarded to us abroad.

Will such issuance be allowable and safe?

CIC won't send them to PO boxes or commercial addresses.

Thanks PMM for saving me in advance, otherwise i can imagine how embarrassing it could be that we land on airport with the confidence that we have a legal address and pooofffffff...... things goes wrong.
