Using HBL Credit Card (Pakistani) of Parent for Living Expenses in Canada

Guys, I need to know how can I use Credit Card of my parent for covering monthly living expenses in Canada during studies.

Please do tell me possible problems, extra charges involved related to its use and if it is feasible to to use it compared to other options (in which I will have to withdraw a lot cash at once from home)....

Credit cards from your country will be much costly. Open a Canadian bank account and transfer money from your home country. The charges will be one time and much less than credit card I think.

lets say you bought some stuff from wall-mart total = $100

So how will this be billed to your parents in pakistan?

Simple. = $100 + 3.5% (Currency will be charged on HIGHER rate then in current terms)

conclusion! DO NOT EVEN THINK OF DOING IT!

but you should definately take your credit card because emergency can anytime.. so that credit card would come handy in hard times.
