Urgent request : Should we apply for open-employment or through some employer

We have received the letter from vagerville about acceptance of our case. They just need one police clearance from back home, but we can now apply for employment auth.

We have one job offer from central canada (not Quebec, where we applied the spouse sponsor). Should we apply for open employment or should we apply through the other employer? Please advise.

Did you mean that you got a letter from CIC vegreville saying that you qualified for PR in Canada and can apply for OWP? This is what you call "Approved in Principle" (AIP) letter. If this was the case, you can apply online for OWP so you can work for any employer.

If you means that your sponsor received a letter stating they they recieved the application. This is Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) letter. You you can still apply for OWP by paper application but you would have to wait until you pass the 1st stage (AIP) before you can be approved for OWP.
