My friends I need your opinion asap.
1-My son out of Canada for humanitarian conditions (he take care of his grand parents).
2-He has only about 400 days in Canada in the past 5 years.
3-As he is young, he joined school in my country during his stay outside Canada,
4- To keep his ties with Canada he applied for OSAP to support him and they supported him during the past 5 years by about 50,000$,
5- He applied to renew his PR in last June under humanitarian condition.
6-IRCC sent him a questioner to fill in September,
7-In the questioner one of the questions is (what ties he has in Canada?)
8- My Question is.(Should he mention that he had OSAP fund, and he in debt to Canada by 50,000$)??
do they consider it as a tie to Canada??
Thanks in advance for your resopnse

Borrowing money from OSAP is not really a strong tie to Canada, particularly if the money was used to study outside of Canada.
