Urgent!! Nigerian E-Passport Renewal or Re-Issue

Please can you confirm if it is possible to renew my old Nigerian e-passport as it expires next year and I am applying for study permit up to 3-6 years in Canada.

The agent I contacted told me I have to process a new one that the e-passport does not have provision for renewal (renewal page is not included)

well here is what i know.

canadian embassy will only issue to you a one year student permit due to the validity date on your current e-passport even if you did apply for a 3-6 study permit. hence, you will need to reply after you obtain a new passport for the remaining years of study.

i would advice you do get a new passport.

never heard anything about non-renewal of e-passport here, was in the same expiry situation, was given just a year study permit, now I gotta reapply here for both renewals, if you can get a new pport in tym in naij, do so, and if not, no p still, u can do that here.

I have arranged for application for new e-passport for next week at the Immigration in 9ja.

Now on medical stage. Hope it wont take longer again after medical result?
