Hello all,
I am looking forward to take loan for my Canadian Student Visa under SPP. I met one of my friends cousin who promised to loan under fixed deposit without hurdles. (I trust him because he isn't an agent but works in loan department of SBI.)
Now the problem is that he says there cannot be a second applicant for loans against fixed deposit, as I am not a minor I cannot have my parents as my first applicant.
I was fine with it till I learnt from my Visa Consultant that I need to have my Dad as the first applicant under any circumstances.
Whereas my friends cousin (who works at SBI) says its not like that and under his signature and approval many students have went from various consultants to CANADA (infact he showed me documents as testimonials which were absolutely genuine obviously) and its absolutely OK to be first and the only applicant when loan is against FD.
Some one please confirm this ASAP

PS. I approached him only because "MANY" banks do not offer loan for PG Certificate courses. X-(
