Hello friends,

I need your precious words. I had given my Biometrics on 12 July and today it’s status changed from your action is required to submitted. I am a CEC applicant. Now next is PPR.

1) I don’t know how long PPR takes to arrive after Biometrics changes from YAIR to submitted.

2) my spouse passport has only 7 month validity, although we haven’t received our PPR yet, do you suggest to renew his passport or submit the current one (when it might be less than 6 months by the time we get PPR).

3) if my spouse sends less than 6 months passport, will his PR be rejected

4) is cic still giving 30 days to submit passport or is it 90 days due to COVID

what would you suggest
Your previous words please

thanks a tonne

Apply to renew passport now. I don't think will be rejected if less than 6 months but may end up in situation where will have very little time, with more complications.

I believe (not certain) that applicants who have received passport request and showed they have application for new in process have not had a problem, submitted when they got it.

BUT: obviously no idea where you are or how long it may take to get a new passport.
