I found that it will take 15 to 21 days to get a entry visa to India. Due to a emergency I will have to leave before Saturday. If any of you have any input of getting the entry visa within 24 hours please let me know.

You need to carry the proof of your emergency to indian consulate and get visa stamped same day. If they deny, you're allowed to speak with consulator.
