Update in CIC portal.....not able to understand

I have received an update in CIC portal with below comments.

We sent you correspondence on March 28 , 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.”[/font][/size][/flash]

As I am on vacation I could not reach the mail box for checking, can anyone suggest what will be this request all about.

Awaiting a reply as the members of this group had always been helping with best suitable advises / suggestions.

Hi, I had the same ECAS updates when I received MRs (separate MR emails for each family member) . Same text when I got email from VO on another email requesting updated police certificates & additional info.
Visa offices usually send emails (not mail), please check your email account which you provided with your initial application and your Junk folder too.

check your registered email address, they have send you there the letter and you will find whatever the requirements are. it will also mention the deadline as to when to submit. cheers!

receiving in email is an assumption or its for sure, as my so called experienced lawyer is saying it will be via post only.

Check your registered e-mail as you have been advertised on this forum. They have sent you an important e-mail which you need to respond to within a specified period of time. I got the same notification as yours in my CIC and they sent me an e-mail to submit my documents for copr within 30 days.

a copy of my international passport data page
2 passport sized pictures
a copy of the e-mail they sent to me

I am from a visa exempt country, hence I dont need to send my international passport for visa issuance. the documents must be sent to the embassy within 30 days.

Is your ECAS showing decision made yet? If yes, then I believe the e-mail you received is for copr/ passport request.

ECAS status is still showing IN Progress so i dont feel it will be for a passport request.
waiting for the mail with crossed fingers as it has yet to come.

you have to click the word IN PROCESS, (if not done yet), and there you will get to know the movement of your file, including the letter/correspondence you are talking about. although it will not mention what exactly the subject of the letter but you will come to know when exactly they sent.
