Hello,

For my foreign work experience I worked for 55 weeks (40hrs a week). I took 3 weeks and 1 day of vacation within this time period, 1 week was paid and the rest was unpaid (as I had not accrued enough holiday pay at this current time) Would this qualify as 1 years experience for CEC? Would there be any issues with this?

You can be qualified for CEC if you have at least one year Canadian work experience. With foreign work experience you are not eligible for that. Do you have canadian also?

Hi, yes I have the canadian experience.

I was just wondering how they calculated foreign work experience.

With my foreign work experience and the unpaid leave of 2 weeks and 1 day, would this be an issue? I did work 2 weeks and 3 days over the 52 weeks required in total but I wonder if this gap of unpaid leave would be non continous or something? I'munsure of how they assess the foreign work experience under the CEC class
