What you have mentioned is the minimum requirement(in terms of work ex). But it's clear..they prefer candidates with work ex of atleast 3 years.

Is it very difficult to get admission with work exp of 1 year( or 2 years, if i apply next year) ?

In the usask website they had mentioned about LOR from academic institution in the format prescribed by the university but in the college where i studied my Degree they jus give a LOR in a college letterpad. Is this sufficeient or should i get LOR from my work place instead.?
