I came to Canada on a closed WP in a university (research scientist). After an year, in my WP extension application I forgot to mention experience gained during the processing of first WP, it falls under STEM. Can I use that in PR.

When I applied for my SP, I only mentioned about my relevant work experience. When I applied for PR, I mentioned the other work experiences under my full personal history.

Some people on internet are saying that it could be blunder and considered misrepresentation resulting in a ban.
Did IRCC asked for any explanation on that or it just got through seamlessly ?

Each case is different. For my application, IRCC never asked for any explanation. My work experience was brief and concise, containing only those information relevant to my Canadian DLI program. However, my personal history included jobs such as food chain attendant and grocery stocker. I guess IRCC was able to distinguish why I segregated those informations.
