Two and More Degrees ECA evaluation

How it comes you have chosen Master as a level of education while WES evaluated your master's degree as bachelor of 4 years ???
I think your first selection is ok
But in the second selection, you should have chosen bachelor again as level of education and in the lower selection you choose two or more degree, certificate...etc.

The GCMS notes clearly days that the problem is the "Two or more" and not the master's under level of education.

Hi All

I said I would update once I knew more.

I had two major issues.

1. My WES summary only listed Bachelors, however, the body of the ECA listed Bacheors and a one year college level certificate.
2. What to select on the form. I filled in the forms as:

I've just received my GCMS notes and it read as follows.

I hope this is good news - it is sometimes hard to tell. I hope this helps others out there in the same position I was in several months ago.

Hello folks!

I am in a similar predicament as most of you here....

My WES ECA Summary states BACHELOR DEGREE FOUR YEARS.

credential 1: BA HONS MATHEMATICS (Canadian Equivalency is BACHELORS DEGREE FOUR years)
credential 2: PGDBM (2 years, Recognized Institute)- Canadian Equivalency is COMPLETION OF SECOND UNDERGRADUATE MAJOR

All along I believed this means that the TWO OR MORE DIPLOMA/DEGREE option is applicable to me. My CRS has 119 points for Education, and another 25 points for Skills Transferability, as I have CLB 10+in IELTS.

Now, when the Nov 19 changes came in, some fields went BLANK (specifically, the Two OR MORE that I had selected for my PGDBM). I changed it to Two Year Degee / Diploma option as that's seemed the closest To me. But I wasn't so sure it's the correct option. There is no option that matches a "Canadian Equivalency is COMPLETION OF SECOND UNDERGRADUATE MAJOR"in the CIC ECA CONVERSION TABLE.

I have posted my query to WES , yesterday....awaiting a reply....fingers crossed...

But I seriously don't get it, why would they give me such a ridiculous Equivalency for a 2 year full time PG Diploma in Business Management! At least a Diploma, for one year , instead of UG Major...should I have it re evaluated? The loss of 32 points on my CRS will get me out of OINP as my score will drop below 400. And there's is no other way, to increase my score , except perhaps learn French (just joking)!!

Can you post exact Canadian equivalency wordings only for each of your credentials? It will be given at the end for each credential that is evaluated.

I just wanted to understand whether "from a recognized university" is also part of the equivalency.

If it is not,

You can select "Masters" as equivalent as your MBA falls in one of those results under University degree at the Master’s level in the following page.

That particular wording is removed but you can still claim points for 2 degrees by making separate entries provided both the degrees/diplomas have been assessed and found equivalent to a completed Canadian credential.

My wife was evaluated for Degree as well as PDGM by WES.

Degree was evaluated as Canadian equivalent 3 year degree.
PGDM was evaluated as Non Recognized and not equal to a Canadian program.
Summary says - Degree of 3 years and nothing else.

Hence, she can choose only Degree option or TWO or MORE?

Guys in the new system there is no Two or more entry. Just put ur individual ones and will get the correct score.
